Bee Creative Parties and Charity Fundraiser at QuiltShopGal

I'm back here at SewCalGal trying to heighten awareness of some fun events and giveaways I'm hosting at QuiltShopGal this month, part of my Celebration of International Craft Month.

Bee Creative Linky Party for all things Mandala just kicked off.  You can share anything you create this month with a Mandala theme, sharing your #CreativeGoodness.  This is open to all forms of creativity (e.g. quilts, free-motion quilting, mixed media, paper, doodling, painting, machine embroidery, etc).

As part of the Bee Creative Linky Party, I'm also hosting a Charity Fundraiser to benefit Cystic Fibrosis.  Sponsors have donated 22 amazing prizes that you can enter to win by three different options to get virtual raffle tickets.

On March lst, QuiltShopGal kicked off a Celebration Party for International Craft Month with a blog hop where several blogging friends helped to share tips, tutorials and inspirational projects for a variety of craft projects. And, sponsors have donated over 20 prizes that you can enter to win simply by visiting one or more of the participating blogs in this event.

Lastly, I want to remind all my SewCalGal followers that I miss you.  I moved to QuiltShopGal over a year ago.  Oddly, I still have more followers of my old SewCalGal blog than I do have for my new QuiltShopGal blog.  I sure hope you'll come visit me at QuiltShopGal, check out all the fun I'm creating for followers and hopefully become a follower of QuiltShopGal.

Did you know?

For those that follow blogs via the Google/Blogger GFC widget, did you know there are two forms of that widget and one has been obsoleted?  The old version still exists on many blogs, but it defaults to showing ALL bloggers that the blog owner has connected with via GFC at any time in history.  Sadly, many of those connections are typically no longer bloggers, yet those old blog addresses still show up in the Blog List widget on their blog!  And as GFC did not work with non-Google/Blogger blogs, it doesn't support adding feeds to QuiltShopGal.

The new Google/Blogger Blog Follow widget allows the blog owner to add a URL for any blog, including blogger blogs, wordpress blogs, business blogs, etc.  Yes, it does take time to set up, but it is so much better to use than the old GFC widget.  Just simply go into your ADD widgets functionality within blogger to set it up.  Of course, I hope you'll add QuiltShopGal (www.quiltshopgal.com) to your blog follow list widget and stop using the old GFC widget.
